Excellent location. Wonderful view of harbour. 100 m to boat pier and half hour by boat to Portofino. Room very clean. Old town area. Friendly and helpful staf.
Everything was fine.
The location was excellent, right on the sea front. My room was not at the front of the hotel but still had a sea view and a balcony and was a really good size for a single room. There was a warm welcome with maps, leaflets and information given out and all the staff were friendly and efficient. The best coffee I have ever had anywhere in Italy!
We were very pleased with the way the owner of the hotel ,Mr. Luciano welcomed us and did his best to help and pamper us.He advised with patience about places to visit and how to reach them. Everything was marvellous including the breakfast .
Reception and breakfast staff were excellent, great for families. Location was very central and a views from room breathtaking.
Luciano and his staff were brilliant. they quickly made us feel like old friends and nothing we asked of them was too much trouble. The situation (overlooking the sea) was perfect with the lovely town immediately behind - and it's proximity to the Cinque Terre perfect for anyone wanting the best of all things. Roll on our next visit!
The staff are very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They helped make our stay fantastic. They were always willing to help. The room was very clean, and everything we needed. Our room was a corner room so we had 2 french windows, and an outstanding view over the harbour. Very romantic and private. There is an abundance of great restaurants and cafes, reasonably priced with delicious menus. The shops are a short walk away and a huge variety. The traghetto(boat) which goes around the coastline, is directly opposite the hotel, and easy access. We are already planning to return to Hotel Vesuvio next year.
Nothing we didn't like. It met all our expectations and more
This hotel was fantastic value for money. The owner gave us such a warm and friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Being right on the sea front it can be a little noisy but it wasn't a problem as with the windows closed and the airconditioning on( which was very quiet and efficient) you really can't hear anything outside. The owner and staff are the stand out thing with this hotel.
The only thing we noticed was you could hear other patrons in their rooms but not enough to spoil our stay.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and cosy. The view from the balcony was spectacular.
Top location in Rapallo on the sea front, extremely friendly and courteous staff, rooms clean and well appointed.
Only downside would be lack of a bar or out of hours food & drink facility (no bar or room service at any time, and minimally stocked mini-bar).
We had a balcony room facing the mediterranean sea. it was conveniently located near the ferries taking you to portofino and walking distance to the train taking you to cinque terre (which can only be reached by train or ferry). They provided parking in front of the hotel for only 10 euros a day. breakfast is included in rate. I would recommend it to my friends and will return when we travel to rapallo again.
Our corner room had two balconies with superb views of the sea, and overlooked the main street with market stalls one day. Room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast area had stylish, comfortable ambience, outlook onto street. Buffet breakfast with fruit, yoghurt etc - plenty of choice - with coffee to order.
Rooms were spotless always, staff were very helpful at all hours, great location spot right on the strip across from the beach, amongst the action. Very secure for guests- no one came in without staff knowing. Spoke English
Nice staff. Good location. Close to the railway station that we used all the time to get to the neighbouring towns and to Cinque Terre. Good breakfast. Big, clean room with a lovely sea view (triplet).
Friendly & comfortable hotel Owners very helpful with parking & also with a problem I had with my hire car
Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. Facing the sea. Comfortable family room with two separate bedrooms, ideal for the family. Nice breakfast, though the food choice doesn't vary from day to day. Would surely recommend
Can be rather noisy at night - the road is just between the hotel and the sea. But it's surely not a hotel issue. If the windows are closed and aircon is on , sleeps just fine. Hangers for the towels are missing in the bathroom.
